Hosted by Nora Faber and Light Gallery + Studio
In this workshop, Nora Faber will guide you through how to make your very own abstract landscape clayboard piece. Clayboard is a type of surface that has a carveable surface where you can etch in your own lines, and build up surrealist layers with inks and oil paints in a beautiful and vibrant color palette.
This workshop lasts for about two hours, and you will leave with your very own finished piece! You will have the choice between a 6 x 6” or a 5 x 7” clayboard panel to use as a work surface. This workshop is perfect for beginners who are interested in learning about how to create your own abstract painting! This class can be messy, so take that into account when you’re picking out your clothes for the class. Gloves will be available to protect your hands from any staining that may occur from the inks.
