Maybe you have been looking at our instagram and wondering, man I wish I could captures photos of my work like that! Well now is your chance, join Matthew for a morning workshop that will provide you with tips and tricks to up your photo game whether you have a phone to work with or a pro-ish real-life cam.

During this 2 hour workshop Matthew will go over all of the tips and tricks to getting the perfect shot with the best lighting. Not only will you learn how to leverage natural light for the best product shots, you'll also:

  • Learn how to improve your compositions using various props and camera angles

  • Learn how to use a DIY light-box

  • Learn flat-lay hacks that cost you zero dollars

  • How to make your tripod earn its keep

Matthew Provoast is a wedding and portrait photographer that lives in Grand Rapids, MI. He recently received his Bachelors in Fine Arts degree from Kendall College of Art and Design, with a heavy focus on Photography and Printmaking.  He currently photographs wedding around the state of Michigan and beyond, owns Light Gallery + Studio, teaches art classes, exhibits his artwork locally, and collaborates with other local photographers. Matthews work always aims to capture that perfect light and those unforgettable moments. He will guide you step by step through the photographic process and teach you how to best utilize those confusing buttons on your fancy camera. You can check out his client work at
