Mounted Staghorn Fern - May 24th

Mounted Staghorn Fern - May 24th

Hosted by Light Gallery + Matthew Provoast

Mounted plants are seriously awesome. Think artwork ... but PLANTS!!!

Staghorn Ferns get their name from the large, bifurcated, antler-like fronds that shoot out dramatically from the center of the plant. As epiphytes that grow naturally in the crooks of tree trunks, they're ideal candidates for mounting, as they require little root space to thrive.

Versatile, easy to care for, and massive talking-pieces, mounted staghorn ferns are really coming into their "own" in homes across the nation! Join Matthew Provoast for an evening of getting your hands dirty, learning, laughs and leafy-love creations!

Matthew will guide you through the process of mounting a staghorn fern, their maintenance, and care. This is an all-inclusive workshop where all tools and supplies needed to create your botanical beauty will be provided, but it will be YOU that puts it all together.
